Frequently asked questions
Why don’t I see any voices? Some browsers load voices with a slight delay; if the list is empty, wait or reload.
Is my text uploaded? No: synthesis happens on your device.
Can I download the audio? The Web Speech API plays it but doesn’t export the audio directly.
