Daily water intake calculator
This calculator estimates how much water to drink per day from your weight, in litres and glasses. A common rule of thumb is about 33 ml per kilogram of body weight.
How it’s calculated
water (L) = weight (kg) × 0.033
For example, 70 kg → about 2.3 L a day, which at 250 ml glasses is roughly 9 glasses. It’s a guide: heat, exercise, pregnancy or breastfeeding increase your needs.
Tips
- Drink across the day, not all at once.
- Some water comes from food and other drinks.
- Thirst and pale urine are good hydration signs.
